NDAA Support: A Stronger Military for a Stronger Wyoming

With F.E. Warren Air Force Base and the Wyoming National Guard playing such a vital role in our state's culture, identity, and economy, we have a strong commitment to supporting our nation’s military. As the National Defense Authorization Act moves through national legislation, your Wyoming Chamber is fully backing efforts to get it passed. And we’re not alone—alongside the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, numerous organizations across the country are working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure its success. The U.S. Chamber's Head of Government Affairs, Rodney Davis, released the following statement in support of the NDAA for Fiscal Year 2025:

“The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is proud to support H.R. 5009, the Servicemember Quality of Life Improvement and National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2025. We applaud the bipartisan, bicameral work to strengthen our military and national security programs on the world stage while upholding our commitment to the men and women who serve our nation. Now Congress must swiftly pass the NDAA to ensure America continues to meet our procurement, research and readiness priorities.”

WY this matters to you: A strong and well-supported military directly impacts our state's economy and workforce. F.E. By supporting the National Defense Authorization Act, we help ensure continued defense spending, which strengthens military infrastructure and resources. A robust military presence also helps maintain Wyoming's strategic importance on a national level, which can bring long-term economic benefits for all sectors.
